Dustin Treiber (pronounced TRY-bur) is a singer/songwriter of Country, Rock and Christian songs and performs solo acoustic shows for music venues, bars, casinos, fairs, parties and church events primarily around Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and Arkansas. Dustin's original songs have been aired on area radio stations, featured and performed on 'Karen Berka Branson Radio Live', and played in test markets in Europe, including “Take Me Drunk, I’m Home”, which hit the Top 40 charts in Europe and took him to the semifinals in 'CMT’s Music City Madness' competition in 2009.
Dustin has opened for many country artists including Luke Bryan, Craig Campbell, Billy Dean, Moe Bandy, and Bo Phillips. His solo Acoustic Country/Rock show, is praised for his great song selection, solid vocals, talented guitar picking skills and fun, friendly, stage presence that keeps the crowd entertained!
Dustin grew up in the small town of St. Paul, KS, lives in Pittsburg, KS, and has been songwriting since college. In 2007 he recorded his first album, “Encounter” in Nashville, TN.
In 2009, Dustin recorded a home-made music video for “Take Me Drunk, I’m Home” which made it to the FINAL 8 in CMT’s Music City Madness in 2009! In 2010 he finished his 2nd music video for "The Slim Jackass Drinkery". Dustin spent a few years as part of the Country duo, "Treiber and Robinson". He and Chase Robinson recorded T&R’s album “Best Thing She Ever Had” in 2012. They had regional airplay with "One Tequila, Two Tequila, Three Tequila, Floor", "Backyard Summers", and "I Can't Let You Go".
Dustin is also Christian music singer/speaker for Christian events and plays music for Catholic Mass and Adoration. His original Christian songs have been used as themes for Christian events including the National Teens Encounter Christ Conference. Dustin is married to his bride, Sarah, and they currently live in Pittsburg, KS with their four kids.
In 2009, Dustin competed in Country Music Television's ‘Music City Madness’ competition with his original song, “Take Me, Drunk, I'm Home”. Each contestant had to create an original music video of an original song. Each week, videos went head-to-head in tournament style online voting. Over 600 people entered, 64 competed, and Dustin made it to the semi-final round.
